Match Day

After all the frivolity of Folly we returned to Winston-Salem to celebrate a glorious doctor in training, Wes Knepper. Many people came to support him on his match day. Champagne flowed like wine as everyone toasted to his success.

Wes worked really hard to get to this point. 

Here are the rest of the slackers that didn't work as hard. Notice that Wes earned TWO white coats.

Cooper River Bridge Run Here We Come!!

The excitement and hype has been building for weeks. A predicted 8000000000000000 will be descending upon this sleepy village of Charleston for this race of all races. The organizers have pulled out all the stops. Two words come to mind: epic proportions.

There are a number of contenders that we will be watching closely:
Roby the Glittery Unicorn Gallotti, Robert Muscle Beach Clark, Mallory The Driver Bray, Allison Let's Rumble  Wolfe, Matt American Bulldozer Sagranski, Jeff White Lightning Alexander, Juli The Punjabi Crusher Luthra, Erin Dash Assassin Wisman, and Hayes Flashfire Wong.

It finally feels like Spring!!! It was such a beautiful day today. It would have been a good day in Folly.

It's Friday, Friday, Friday in Folly

Hello friends! After an exhausting 5.5 hr journey, we finally made it to Folly Beach! We traveled through an intense thunderstorm and kept on going on despite tornado warnings from the National Weather Service.

It wasn't raining here when we arrived, but right now the thunder is rolling and the rain is starting up.

I have some lovely pictures of the local inhabitants, but the internet is rejecting me from downloading my photographs right now...so I will try to upload them later.

We are now going to play an exotic card game. Toodles.

New Baby Girl Bray

I am proud to announce that shortly after our arrival in Folly, my sister and her husband had my niece #3, Whitney Anne Smith. Dubs comes in weighing in at 8.5 lbs. She is quite the chunkier. "I just want to dance with somebody" - Whitney.
