Folly Recap in Pictures

FRIDAY

Some intense deliberation is going on at the Convention of Nations. Representatives from China, Ireland, Iran, and Japan gather around to discuss important manners.

China is winning. We always win. (Japan has apparently disappeared... probably was attacked by a giant octopus or something.)

SATURDAY

Animal cracker
Meat for dinner
Kills from the Hunt

Alien from District 9
Lychee jelly

SUNDAY
Escaped crazies

Adoration at its finest

Big pimpin'

Emergent intranasal surgery... no big deal

Oysters at Bowens Island

Missed posting this last night. Beers and oysters. Followed by the classic film "mega shark vs giant octopus". Tiny Juggernaut is a visual effects genius.

On our way back:(

Making the long trip back to The Dash. Jamming to The Police, Ray Lamontagne, The two thumbs up auto-tuned, among other fresh beats.

Time for beer run and pizza!

It's Friday, Friday, Friday in Folly

Hello friends! After an exhausting 5.5 hr journey, we finally made it to Folly Beach! We traveled through an intense thunderstorm and kept on going on despite tornado warnings from the National Weather Service.

It wasn't raining here when we arrived, but right now the thunder is rolling and the rain is starting up.

I have some lovely pictures of the local inhabitants, but the internet is rejecting me from downloading my photographs right now...so I will try to upload them later.

We are now going to play an exotic card game. Toodles.

New Baby Girl Bray

I am proud to announce that shortly after our arrival in Folly, my sister and her husband had my niece #3, Whitney Anne Smith. Dubs comes in weighing in at 8.5 lbs. She is quite the chunkier. "I just want to dance with somebody" - Whitney.
Our first tribulation of the trip...devouring a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. It's been many years since I've had a meal from Wendy's and now I remember why. With burning indigestion, here we come!

We arrived!

Three planes, two boats, a helicopter, a hot air balloon, one whale and dog-sled later, we finally arrived in Folly Beach, South Carolina!!
Thus begins the adventure of five friends who escaped the throes of fourth year to find... who knows and who cares?

(mostly all of our friends have their own blogs for their travels frolicking thru exotic landscapes abroad, and we wanted our own blog)
